Fiction Book Covers for Animal Authors

For this new series in watercolor, attention has been turned to the literary creators within the animal community and their stories have been channeled into visions of the natural world through the literature they would create.  These visions capture the Animal Author’s books into a quick narrative summing up the high points of the fiction for which they were designed. Because there is no real access to these books, I must work directly with the flow of ideas sent to my subconscious as inspiration and believe they will fulfill the needs of the Animal Authors. The fiction which each piece represents is surely a rich collection of tales full of drama and intrigue we can only imagine. The Animal Authors appreciate you conjuring your own tales for each cover in hopes that, though we can never collect and read their works, we will form a deeper appreciation for the secret inner richness of their existence. Perhaps this appreciation will lead to a greater respect for life in its many forms and the idea that all living beings have stories to tell worthy of our attention and protection.
